Sweet Memories were made by Emily + Brandon at their Saanich Wedding Day held on Vancouver Island. Everything about this wedding reflects thoughtful taste and classic beauty. Of course, the eye catching skirt on the bride is the style highlight!
The ceremony venue already has naturally epic views looking over Sea Cider’s orchards and the ocean beyond. However, the metal triangle backdrop accented with floral, featuring the skirt material and ferns, creates an intimate space for Emily and Brandon’s vows. Their guests enjoy seats under the industrial door framing the open deck and views beyond.
The bride certainly shines in a timeless yet more casual bridal style. The white top is partnered with a truly spectacular custom made skirt along with white pearls . The colour is perfect so as to not overwhelm yet it is a personal style triumph. The light purple and blue larkspur are matched with white anemones and greenery in a bouquet that reflects the geometric theme.
Orchard Walk Provides Sweet Memories
The lovely orchard walk taken after the ceremony by the newlyweds allowed for some gorgeous shots – we especially loved the bride twirling her lovely skirt and the couple holding each other.
The reception featured the setting sun over a tent in the orchard. The geometric gold metal candle holders look wonderful on the wooden tables surrounded by Italian Ruscus and Gypsophila (Baby’s Breath). The table runners and metal chairs complete the simple yet timeless elegance that this entire wedding epitomizes. Last, but not least, we must admire the tea cup giveaways for the guests.
