Jocelyn Bacon Events has a unique and individual idea; the joining of a bridal boudoir shoot and a wedding for a contemporary and evocative spin on classic romance!

Turning The Pipe Shop into a Vancouver wedding fantasy included modern and provocative touches that will arouse inspiration. The concept of this risqué photoshoot merges the classical and contemporary styles to create a reckless, in your dreams, romance. White blooms, lush greenery, and low candlelight create a classically romantic ambiance, while the warm gold adds modernity to the tablescapes. Natural light complements the heritage building while floating candlelight’s nestle in the cascade of soft table linens as the bride and groom feast; on nourishing food and one another alluring looks.

Hair and makeup artists worked their magic on bride and groom to give these romantic looks an enticing feel, perfect for the fervorous couple. Lace textures, gold, burgundy, and warm pink tones, translated into an organic bridal bouquet, floral crown, and pieces for the semi-circle and sweetheart table arches. Pale pink and magenta blooms lie among strands of gilded greenery, evoking a beauty-and-the-beast meets ardent romance feeling.

Food designers, The Daily Palette, create an appealing nourish board with local and seasonal plant-based foods, with an overflow of flowers and foliage. Carrying this interpretation of the theme to the sweetheart table with different heights’ candles on original vintage brass stands.

The paper suite oozed romantic intricacy while still contemporary and on-trend with gold and vellum details and hand-torn paper. Completing the looks, we incorporated unique pieces such as the semicircle and copper arches, and whimsical chairs.

Perhaps the best argument for risqué romance is the handmade lace boudoir robe. This unique, feminine, and luxurious boudoir attire speaks to all luring-romantic brides. White flowers highlight the organic hairpiece for a classy feel to the bride’s lovely hair; flowy and dreamy, with just the right touch of risque romance.

And because it’s a Vancouver wedding day, two gowns makes sense; A snowfall white, structured ball gown with a dreamy fantasy vibe, complemented by soft floral stitching across the bodice and sexy off the shoulder straps; and a flowing, airy gown with the most exquisite details for the free romantic spirit. Exceedingly romantic florals and irresistible feminine colours contrast flawlessly against the modern decor, delicate lace gowns, and robe!
