Milestone Moments – Anniversary Photo Shoot
Katherine and Anthony were in love—just not with their wedding photos! So they celebrated their fifth anniversary in the best way possible—by reliving their wedding day with epic shots by Halle Adrian Photography. They chose to mark the occasion by donning their wedding ensembles and visiting iconic Vancouver landmarks. The photos were just as they had always pictured them, and they could not have been happier.
We love the ‘all in’ attitude that Katherine and Anthony showed to detail. They had professional help with hair and makeup, and the bridal bouquet was lush and beautiful. Their embrace of the city is a perfect foil to their intimacy as a couple. We love the large expansive feel of the city landscape but are drawn to how they are in their own world together. The art deco facade of the Marine Building in Vancouver is a wonderful addition to this romantic sage.
Katherine and Anthony are not the first nor will they be the last couple whose photography goes sideways on a wedding day. Even if the photos go well, there is often not enough time to truly go all out on photography. Couples simply may not have enough emotional energy to capture the feeling of their day.
After-wedding photo shoots are such a beautiful idea as they solve these problems entirely. For one thing, the shoot is just about the two of you. No thoughts about getting all the family shots or trying to fit all the bridal party into the photo. Instead, it’s about celebrating the reason for your wedding day. The love that made it all happen! So go ahead and choose to have the shoot at your wedding venue or choose to fly to the highest mountain. There are no rules!
