Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, and this beach tableau embraces the beauty of the elements. Welcoming the summer wind and rain on the Pacific Shores is to welcome the naturally beautiful West Coast Wedding.

The styled shoot was born from the foam of the sea. Aphrodite is a goddess of love who is widely worshipped as a goddess of the ocean and seafaring. This dichotomy of soft, romantic love and the tumultuousness of the waves that Aphrodite represents inspired the styling of this oceanic wedding setting.

The soft, flowing ivory chiffon on the table, chairs, and wedding gown provided a color and texture contrast to the dark beach sand. The gown, specifically designed by Jenny Yoo, seems to move in the wind like water through rocks. It pays homage to the sea and subtly evokes the Grecian goddess herself.

Divine Decor stylist Chantel incorporated heavier tabletop elements such as charger plates, florals, and natural details like seashells to help secure the gauzy fabrics. The lighter, flat paper details were attached with sticky tack, keeping the weather in mind! Finally, grounded florals and tables were sunk slightly into the sand.

We love the delicate white roses and ranunculus lushly spread around the table, the gold-embossed light blue paper suite, the delicate white shell cake, and the gold candle holders on the beach reception table.
