My Wedding Painter added a touch of creative wonder with an evolving masterpiece painted throughout the day, giving attendees a firsthand look at how fine art can become part of a wedding celebration. Photography was a major focus, with nearly a dozen talented professionals present. Demin Photography, OddSocks Photomedia, Andrew Lukianiuk, and newcomer Henry Fang of Eventful Edits each brought individual perspectives on capturing memories, offering couples diverse options for preserving life’s most meaningful moments.

Venues played a significant role in shaping wedding imagination. Guests had the opportunity to explore resort and destination options through representatives from Tigh-Na-Mara, Brentwood Bay Resort, and Galiano Island Inn, while those considering golf course weddings connected with teams from Westfield Golf, University Golf, and Quilchena Golf & Country Club. Each venue shared its unique combination of setting, hospitality, and ceremony opportunities.

Throughout the event, roving photographers Bruce Dyer, Diamond’s Edge, and SoWeddings documented the excitement and beauty unfolding in every corner of the hotel. Their work included the highly anticipated bridal fashion show featuring gowns from VIMO Bridal and Aurora Wedding & Apparel, with makeup and hair artistry by Sara Sadr and her talented team. The runway brought contemporary bridal style to life in a way that inspired countless conversations among couples and industry professionals.

Music elevated the atmosphere from morning to late afternoon. Elegant Cello travelled from the Island with their signature classical sound, Jake Hammond delivered captivating acoustic sets, and The Phonix Band delighted crowds with his charismatic performance style. Background music provided by WKM DJ Services and Zapped Productions ensured that guests experienced a seamless transition of sound as they explored the venue.

Wedding planners remained a cornerstone of the show. Bouvardia Events, Key Weddings, Cassiopeia Social, Elle Weddings, Kristar, and more met with couples who sought guidance, structure, and creativity. Their expertise helped visitors imagine how their ideas could translate into cohesive, memorable event experiences.

The Winter Wonderland Lounge was a winter-inspired escape designed exclusively by Element West Rentals. With elegant textures, refined furnishings, and a serene palette, the lounge demonstrated how a simple concept can be transformed into an elevated design experience that guests gravitated toward throughout the day.

The event’s florals brought colour, fragrance, and visual storytelling to the forefront. Petalino Flower Bar, Vancouver Flower School, and Aromatears each presented artistry through their arrangements, offering inspiration for bouquets, installations, and table designs.

For guests who arrived ready to sample local treats, JJ Bakes Company and Cannoli King Vancouver supplied a selection of sweet delights, while Coffee Bike Vancouver and Espresso Deluxe kept everyone energized with warm beverages throughout the day.

This year, West Coast Weddings expanded the bridal show format with new features designed to enhance meaningful engagement. Interactive bridal workshops allowed attendees to go beyond browsing, offering practical planning insights, hands-on learning, and a sense of empowerment as couples refined their visions. The addition of 1-on-1 vendor meetings provided private, productive conversations in which couples could discuss ideas, budgets, and must-haves in greater depth. These personalized elements created a more intentional and supportive planning experience that resonated strongly with visitors.

One of the most anticipated components of the event was the array of high-value giveaways. Five of the most exciting prizes included three luxury two-night stays from Paradox Hotels, two all-inclusive vacation packages offered by Marsha Steeves Destination Weddings in partnership with Melia Hotels International, a premium décor rental certificate from Proline, a photobooth credit package from Candid Clip & Co, and a high-value gift certificate from Eventful Edits.

With so many incredible vendors, entertainers, sponsors, and volunteers contributing to the success of this year’s Red Carpet Event, it is impossible to highlight every participant. We invite all guests and industry partners to explore the full directory available on our website.

The success of the WCW Red Carpet Event was made possible, in no small part, by Dexter Eulin and the team at the Paradox, who not only provided the welcome bubbles but also hosted our Industry Mixer the night before, further elevating the guest experience and setting a celebratory tone for the full weekend.

To everyone who attended, captured thousands of photos, shared their experiences on social media, and supported our continued growth, we extend our deepest thanks. Your enthusiasm and engagement helped make our closing event of 2025 at Paradox Hotel our most inspiring and community-driven celebration yet.

Ready for our next event? We have formally announced ‘In Bloom’ at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on March 29th. Details to follow!
