Reclamation + Beauty at Langtry Walk…this inspiration palette is unique for the simple reason of it’s venue. The grounds at Langtry Walk boast a picturesque setting year round to host an intimate wedding celebration in rural Vancouver Island. Current owner, Ken Langtry, grew up with a love and passion for restoration and vintage architecture. The refurbished heritage structures at Langtry Walk now set the tone for what we can only describe as “Reclaimed Beauty”.
One of the unique spots at Langtry Walk is the Twisted Tree. The Twisted Tree has stood watch at our entrance for many years and is widely considered good luck to steal a quick kiss under its branches. This shoot plays with the contrast and mood of new life within regeneration. The floral echoes the same sentiment by showcasing the raw beauty of repurposed floral – giving them new purpose and life. Two worlds being blended into one where the innocence of love is born. 
We love the vintage feel about the bride and groom. The bride wears a form fitting bodice while the lace overlay skirt flows about her into a gorgeous train. Her hair is pulled back and held with flowers which is stunning in it’s simplicity. The bridal bouquet holds muted hues of floral and grasses complementing the antique tones all around her. The groom stands out in his charcoal grey suit, bow tie and boutonniere. 
The décor is a throwback to the history of the reclaimed buildings. Candles light up the antique wood atmosphere and the swooping fabric background is set off with pampas grass collections. The antique rugs and barrels add to the feel of history and romance.
Reclamation + Beauty at Langtry Walk showcases the best of farm weddings with the antique and historical feel of restoration. What a perfect inspiration wedding palette for West Coast couples!
