On the Farm Wedding Romance

On the Farm Wedding Romance

Lauren and Taylan’s chic outdoor wedding, with a harvest table of guests dining under the open sky, was featured in the latest West Coast Weddings Magazine. We loved the elegant, romantic vibe, filled with creative details by the bride!

Keating Farm is a fantastic pastoral backdrop for Lauren and Taylan’s beautifully designed nuptials. This farm venue is a rustic private retreat that embodies Cowichan Valley’s nature. The lovingly restored late 1800s farmhouse and heritage buildings provide a sense of history and grandeur for Vancouver Island weddings and events. No wonder guests and newlyweds rave about their experience at the Farm.

Lauren has an eye for detail, as she created the paper suite seen throughout the day. The long table was set perfectly between the trees, with string lights woven throughout the branches of this Vancouver Island wedding. White settings danced precisely along the table with perfectly placed pink, white, and peach flowers. Napkins were folded and dripped over the edge towards the cross-back wood chairs. The piece de resistance is the pressed wildflower cake covered in blooms collected and dried by the bride herself!

If you think the bridesmaids’ dresses complement the cake, you would be right! Thoughtful details are this couple’s calling card! We love the bride’s cathedral-length veil over a simply chic sheath-fitted gown. The groom was impeccable in his suit. We love the whole vibe of this on the farm wedding romance and wish Lauren + Taylan the very best future (and wish we had been there to toast them)!
