Intimate, luxurious and gorgeous! FLEUR Luxury Wedding Show & Forum by Aly Armstrong Event Planning and Design is pulling out all the stops to provide a unique experience for engaged couples and their entourages. The tagline ‘come be inspired’ is taken quite literally as FLEUR aims to bring together elite industry professionals and celebrity influencers, offering guests hands-on workshops, a panel discussion and fashion presentation.
We were especially excited to attend the FLEUR Media Brunch where we were privileged to experience a little taste of what is coming at the January show. Delicious mimosas, over the top floral, extraordinary detail decor and, of course, sumptuous nibbles by Parq Vancouver. And all of this while looking out on a fantastic view of the city. All in all, not a terrible way to spend an afternoon!
FLEUR is excited to bring international fashion stylist and consultant Jessica Mulroney to Vancouver. Jessica will be sharing her tips and advice on wedding planning & bridal fashion with the help of moderator Erin Cebula. She is the perfect person to give advice on planning a wedding while still keeping up with career and family – it’s what she does every day as she helps brides at Kleinfeld Canada. This year Jessica was able to help her close friend, Meaghan Markle, through the wedding of the year! Though, from our experience of interviewing Jessica in the past, she will always point out that her most important accomplishment is co-founding the international Shoebox Project.
Last year, the FLEUR Show took guests on a delightful ’round the word’ decor experience culminating in the Eiffel Tower Parisian look. This year, decor companies are creating a luxury champagne experience as you view best in wedding decor trends representing the culture and diversity of Vancouver. Along the way, guests will indulge in an array of delicacies dreamed up by the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver catering team.
Men are especially getting the royal treatment this year as the FLEUR Show. Jason Sarai from Style by Sarai is hosting an exclusive Gentleman’s Lounge in the Parq Villa at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. Here, visitors will be able to peruse a curated collection of male focused wedding products, where women are welcome too.
FLEUR’s partnership with JW Marriot Parq Vancouver brings the sophistication to this event. However, Fleur will be creating a bridal fashion feel in the afternoon as Bisou Bridal will showcase their breathtaking collection of wedding dresses from some of the world’s top designers.
