Romantic Newlyweds at Pitt Lake

Laura Kalcsa — Thu, 16 Jun 2022 13:48:00 +0000

Romantic Newlyweds at Pitt Lake! A charming ceremony with friends and family celebrated with an intimate photo shoot for two. We love the beauty of British Columbia showcased with the happiness of the recently wed!

The rain held off for Andrea and Jeff as they said, “I do,” in front of their nearest and dearest in his parent’s backyard. And when they finished their vows, the sun suddenly shone through the clouds. An orange butterfly danced in and around them and their guests as if the universe was congratulating them. Afterward, the newlyweds took a limo to Pitt Lake, where they found nature’s peace awaiting them. The mountains were covered with low clouds, offering a stunning photo backdrop. It was the perfect storm for a British Columbia wedding!

Andreea is a gorgeous bride in her lace gown, holding a bouquet of blush roses, dahlias, and eucalyptus foliage. We especially love her sophisticated upsweep, which showcases crystal hair jewelry. Jeff keeps up with their couple style in a light grey suit with a white shirt and black tie. These romantic newlyweds at Pitt Lake are an inspiration for the perfect West Coast wedding!

Asian Fusion Wedding West Coast beauty intertwined with classic wedding style made for a beautiful day! Jelly + Tom’s amazing day at the Fairmont Vancouver was created with imagination, colour and love by designer Cherry Wang.

We love the beautiful tea ceremony which begins Jelly + Tom’s wedding day. Fusion couples enjoy the privilege of changes of costume. Jelly is stunning in her Asian dress and hair jewels. Tea ceremonies provide such rich tradition to the cultural mix!

The bridesmaids. adorned in blush pastel tones, look perfect as they witness the ceremonies and the balloons are so perfect in the photos!

Shades of pink entwined with shots of red intertwined the Asian and Western wedding styles and colours. Wondrous floral displays and cake greeted guests as they arrived at the ceremony. Our favorite touches are the incredible floral arch and the musical trio!

Jelly + Tom’s luxurious downtown Vancouver wedding style is reflected in their couple photos – over the top and wonderful! Rivaling the landscape is Jelly’s Rosa Clara gown – one of the most impressive we have ever seen with a sumptuous skirt, lace bodice and gorgeous lace edged veil.

Shades of pink, yellow and white with shots of red intertwined the Asian and Western wedding styles and colours. Wondrous floral displays and cake greeted guests as they arrived at the ceremony. Filberg Heritage Bride on Vancouver Island

Laura Kalcsa — Wed, 12 Jul 2017 16:04:33 +0000

Filberg Heritage Bride on Vancouver Island! We love the heritage feel to this beautiful wedding editorial photographed in Comox Valley. Burnished gold and ivory are paired with the antique browns and organic greens found in the gardens and structures around. The gorgeous bride appears to be a natural work of art belonging in these surroundings!

The floral is the real star of this tableau with blush roses and peonies paired with deep colored greenery. Lush arrangements spill over the bride’s arms and down stairs. The heritage feel of the open blooms and antique shades bring this Filberg Heritage Bride to live in modern times.

Details such as a wedding cake afloat in greenery, the paper suite providing a burst of colour and lush floral really draw this whole photo painting to a spectacular finish. Enjoy!

You are invited to more gorgeous weddings!

Lace & Lavender Wedding Dreams in Gorgeous Vineyard

West Coast Weddings — Mon, 09 Jan 2017 10:26:57 +0000

Lace & Lavender Wedding Dreams! Bright blue skies and rolling purple fields created the perfect backdrop for the ‘Lavender Dreams’ styled shoot. Beautifully captured, and meticulously planned, this look was inspired by the grandeur of stunning landscapes, flowing gowns, and vintage Hollywood glamour.

The idea of a luxurious dress came to life with this stunning gown and cathedral veil that floated on air. Delicate, handcrafted Amethyst and Gold jewelry with bold hair and makeup completed the bridal look. Lace and lavender are a perfect match for this bride.

The search for the perfect backdrop came by way of Damali Lavender & Winery, located in the Cobble Hill area of beautiful Vancouver Island. The fields of lavender were perfect for dreaming of florals that were garden inspired. The flowers were lush and pastel in colour including café roses with a handpicked feel.

Inspired by the French countryside, a romantic tablescape design was designed around a striking custom-made French blue tablecloth. Pale grey accents, subtle touches of purple were entwined with champagne and delicate clematis vine. Lustrous glass dinnerware pieces were added to enhance the look. Various tones of blue were then carried throughout the shoot to pop against the lavender, including a tufted teal chair and pale blue hand-died silk ribbon. A delicate floral printed menu and stylish invitation suite accented the décor perfectly.
