A Stunning Floral Filled Boat Elopement

A boat filled with lush florals? A lakeside elopement? Yes, Please! This styled elopement was a collaboration between photographer Art + The Aerialist, Menze Visuals, and florist Kaye Fleur in Pitt Meadows, BC.  The location, a remote sandbar on Pitt Lake, was only accessible by boat, which certainly added to the adventure!

The fresh color pallet complements the classic Canadian landscape of deep green forests and pale blue mountain ranges by mixing bold floral and bohemian details. Kaye Fleur designed the shoot and bedecked the models with beautiful floral details, including a wristband, shoulder corsage, floral crown, alternative pocket square, and bouquet. She also designed a lush floral piece for the couple’s canoe, which framed an intricate custom macrame design by Forage and Lace.

The bride wore two outfits – a coral, one-shoulder jumpsuit and a blush gown – and our groom wore a navy suit. It was an unnaturally warm evening, so the couple went barefoot and got playful in the water and mud. The floating floral boat was the perfect showcase for canoodling on the water. The evening ended on the dock at dusk, where they popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

You are invited to another BC Elopement!
