Rainforest Vows in Tofino – Bride and Groom, Mark + Maria were blessed with a beautiful day for their nuptials on Vancouver Island’s western beaches. Love and laughter were the order of the day as they shared personal vows beneath the trees with sixteen of their closest people.

Mark and Maria met in the library and became high school sweethearts. Mark proposed on their ten year anniversary – a truly romantic gift!

Maria wore a gown by designer Laure De Sagazan with a lace edged fingertip veil which was perfect for the forest ceremony. This French Designer creates charming gowns such as the one Maria wore which features a lace bodice, cap sleeves and soft, body skimming skirt. The bridal bouquet of eucalyptus, fern and white roses are a lovely way to finish off the Parisian look.

This dreamy Tofino wedding mixed the best of both worlds with the rain forest ceremony and ocean photo session. The couple wandered barefoot into the waves and were rewarded with lifetime shots of their special day.

A really beautiful part of this wedding is the food and liquid guests enjoyed at the beach reception. Appetizers featuring delicious local ingredients were placed onto rocks and driftwood creating a rather artsy and outdoor cuisine. Local craft beers and Island wines were also on the menu! </p

The reception supper table was over the top as pots of white floral sat on the large wood slab table. The wedding party celebrated the rainforest vows in Tofino together under the sky with the amazing catering of the Wickaninnish chefs.
