Downtown Devotion for Brittany + Justin….an intimate Vancouver wedding filled with fall colours and candlelight. Brittney and Justin made some large changes due to the Covid restrictions. They went from a party of 140 to 22 and did not regret a thing. We were so impressed by their je ne sais quois (attitude) that we featured the nuptials in the 2021 Vancouver West Coast Weddings Magazine.
The couple realized they could take over a small local bistro restaurant with such a small guest list. The establishment even had the perfect name as Fiore + Famiglia means Flowers and Family! The Italian theme and rustic yet modern interior simpled up the wedding decor.
The guys started their day at a craft brewery where some amazing photos were taken and then met up with the ladies in the middle of the city for a first look. This is just one of the most adorable first look scenes. Brittany + Justin took a photoshoot tour using historical buildings and the Vancouver skyline as backdrops to their day. 
We love the floral style of this wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids carried lush bouquets of burgundy and peach tones. The bride’s party wears gowns in tones of burgundy and blush while the bride rocks a unique off-the-shoulder lace gown with ruffles down her arms. The floral palette is carried through the ceremony and reception on tables and the arch.
The reception was met with delight as delicious cuisine, and a first dance entertained everyone. The night was finished with a champagne tower poured by the bride and groom to replace the traditional cutting of the cake. We love that this couple epitomized British Columbia with their chill take on pandemic wedding planning. It turned out that a sophisticated downtown devotion event made for lifetime memories.
