Runaway Romance
This Airport Elopement is all about the glam. gold and gorgeous! A custom headpiece, aviator goggles, and epic Reclamation gown lifted this scene to new heights. We were thrilled to feature this styled shoot in our West Coast Weddings Magazine Vancouver Island issue.
The bridal ensemble features an epic cropped bodice and skirt with a golden-sparkle sheer overskirt. The fashionista look is complemented by the besparkled captain’s hat and veil. It’s glitter, glitter, everywhere with her hair and makeup, creating a gold glowing look. The thigh-high slit in the skirt and rocking white cowboy boots are the icing on this fashion cake.
The groom is not left behind, garnering attention in bejeweled aviator goggles, an oversized vest, and black boots. We love the assortment of rings and face gems. Best of all, he is wearing an amazing attitude with his ensemble!
We love that the runway and plane are one of the main characters in this tableau. You can hear the ‘up, up, and away’ vibe in every shot. Adventure and travel are wonderful themes for an elopement or wedding, and we feel like that comes through in every glam-punk moment of this styled inspo. The white and gold dried grass bouquet and boutonniere tie the sky-high look together.
