West Coast Weddings Magazine Vancouver 2024

A new issue, new ownership, and a new outlook! West Coast Weddings Magazine released the newest 2024 British Columbia issue with an emphasis on the Greater Vancouver area including weddings and events from Vancouver Island and the Interior. The future plan is to have issues covering the entire province as well as a Vancouver Island local issue.

The latest magazine builds on the previous 10 issues with a downtown Vancouver fashion spread, a local designer highlight page, and a new look to the vendor directory. The beautiful venues of the Greater Vancouver area grace several pages along with real weddings and styled shoots. 

The new issue surprised guests at the West Coast Weddings Industry Evening at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown and everyone was leafing through the glossy pages! Couples who attended the West Coast Wedding Show on May 5th found the issue in their swag bags and expressed their appreciation for a magazine that highlights local talent.

We can’t thank Gabe McClintock Photography enough for this issue’s cover photo. It was a unanimous decision that this photo was THE one! The wildness of the ocean symbolizes the journey the couple is embarking on, and that is emblematic of our ventures as well. It’s a match made in heaven, so to speak! 

Looking forward, we plan to focus on British Columbia vendors and the clients for whom they create lifelong memories. Enjoy the pages of West Coast Weddings Magazines + stay tuned for more announcements and events!

Vancouver Island West Coast Weddings Magazine…we are thrilled to release the latest issue of West Coast Weddings magazine! It is filled with couples excited to wed on Vancouver Island alongside style shoots by talented wedding vendors who make everything stylish happen. A celebration of Vancouver Island weddings, elopements, and love! 

Our cover is a bookend to the launch and growth of West Coast Weddings Magazine. The first cover in 2017 was by Myrtle and Moss Photography. Our last few months have been busy partnering with a larger company to acquire the magazine and website. So, it makes sense that we once again highlight Myrtle and Moss Photography on our latest cover. True story…we had chosen one photo, but Ang McCabe sent us another, and as always, it is the perfect photo! (PS – look for the rest of this epic Vancouver Island sunset wedding shoot in an upcoming blog!)

Romantic Cover for Vancouver Island Magazine…luxury gown, light grey suit, pampas grass, lush floral, and lots of kisses. We love everything about this epic shoot. In fact, we loved it so much we chose them to be our cover of the 2021 Vancouver Island issue of West Coast Weddings Magazine.

The She Wore Flowers gown is a stunner and happens to be named ‘Island Wedding Dress’. The gentle silhouette is a modern boho wedding dress that is actually two separate gowns.  The ivory inner strapless dress is made from thin charmeuse and a separate outer layer made from tulle and hand-sewn leafy lace detail. The long flowing lace-edged sleeves are memorable. The bridal style is modern yet vintage. The hairstyle and makeup are curated to add to this feel. The piece de resistance bridal bouquet is filled with peach and cream roses without greenery.

What is a romantic tableau without a sweetheart table sitting in a field? Neutral toned decor around pampas grass, pillows, and a table filled with gorgeous details. A white farm table has a linen table runner showing off an adorable wedding cake. The bridal couple enjoys grazing on nibbles while sitting on wicker chairs amid spectacular scenery.

The paper suite for this scene is very beautiful – a tone-on-tone luxury feel for this romantic cover. The boho hat is a perfect fit (no pun intended!) for this wedding design, along with the unique Ebb and Flow jewelery.
