The wine cellar itself has a rich atmosphere, with wood, stone, and shadow textures that naturally lend themselves to creative styling. Draped fabric, vibrant blooms, and candlelight transform the space into a moody yet romantic ceremony setting that feels worlds away from a traditional wedding venue.

The bridal style is just as unique as the rest of this palette. The groom is wearing a grey suit, white shirt, and patterned suspenders/bow tie. The bride is magical in a flowing gown (the grey skirt boasts an impressive slit up the front) with a white ballerina bodice. The gown sparkles bejeweled in the candlelight. As Taylor Swift says, “A diamond’s gotta shine!” The bride’s bouquet is a bold mix of burnt yellow and orange blooms.  The candlelit shadows cast across the walls of the wine cellar reflect the artistic look and draw the eye right onto the couple themselves. The cream cake sitting on a glass plate stand boasts a more colourful floral design and is surrounded by lanterns and candlesticks. Vibrant Moroccan Fusion Tablescape 

Vibrant Moroccan Lanterns accent this West Coast fusion tablescape at Poet’s Cove Resort & Spa on Pender Island. Deep orange, teal, and browns are paired with pewter to create this original and sophisticated look. If you are in love with Moroccan lanterns, then this is the decor for you!

Pewter Tableware 

The delicacy of the pewter tableware caught our eye, and it beautifully accents the lanterns. The whimsical touches of teal blue candle holders allow the heavier burnt orange colours to shine. Orange daisies and white peonies are scattered around the table for floral luxury.

The wedding cake is in neutral tones, although the same delicate fringe work is featured all around. The top accent is made of deep orange daisies with a peacock feather. 

Vibrant Moroccan textures and lanterns make this table shine, and we especially love the wine choice, which perfectly reflects the decor palette!

Elegant + Pretty Champagne Reception Inspiration

Champagne Receptions are such an elegant and pretty alternative to a full-venue wedding. You can choose a pavilion, tent, barn, or open field for your nuptials! The sky is literally the limit with an outdoor wedding. 

Décor is also limitless, but we love the details and colors showcased in these inspirational ideas. Candlesticks, lanterns, unique plates, and champagne glasses grace these tables. We especially love the bold floral colours—red, pink, yellow, and a tiny bit of orange—along with greenery. And don’t you love the gold cutlery?

You can forage your greenery (be sure to wash it thoroughly as you may find some spiders!) and work with a local growing florist for fair flower prices. Just remember that you will need help making this happen on your special day – setup will have to take place a few hours before you and your guests arrive.
