Forest Glam Inspiration: Beautiful brides wandering under sun-dappled trees made us fall in love with this vibe!  The shoot’s concept is to bring glam to the forest for a vintage feel situated amongst the ferns and evergreens typical of the West Coast rainforest. Each bride’s bouquet reflected their personality and gown. The archway, bouquets, and table flowers showcase the seasons changing within the forest. Deep rich tones contrast with the femineity and light colors of the vintage furniture.

Let’s chat about the vintage furniture. Who hasn’t wanted to come upon a delightful table scenario when walking through the trees? The light blue vintage couch is simply perfect under the canopy of trees. The ceremony arch is a work of art with its luxuriant floral display and blue flowing fabric. We especially love the white sweetheart table setting for two – a newlywed setting for romance!

The wine barrel is a delightful touch with cascading florals and the candles sitting on the logs below. The orange button and blue thistle flowers are just the right touches on the greenery-covered wood arch. The rainforest look is a lush backdrop for the dahlias and roses in the bouquets. And the piece de resistance is the simply gorgeous brides in serene beauty amongst all the rich foliage around them. 

The handmade jewelry was all custom designed for this shoot. Jessica from Dug and Mary Designs copper electroformed all the crystals for the necklaces and rings and hand-created the quartz and pearl tiaras for the brides. This wedding inspo shows off British Columbia wedding talent. A true west coast wedding to inspire couples who are looking for the forest glam vibe.

Hycroft Manor Wedding for Cindy + Les...what a beautiful wedding filled with loving details. We love the epic ceremony backdrop, the lovely blush bridesmaids’ gowns, and the bride’s lush cascading bouquet. The elegant and historic Hycroft Manor in Vancouver provided the setting for this classic wedding.

Les + Cindy got ready for their big day with friends and family before the ceremony. The terrace was transformed with drapery, flowers, and a hexagon arch.  The couple exchanged their vows while guests witnessed the occasion. The Rose Garden beyond was a perfect spot for some intimate photos for the couple. Afterward, guests enjoyed the cuisine and speeches during the reception. We loved the tea ceremony held, and the ‘Vancouver inclusivity’ – many backgrounds and cultures are involved in this wedding!

Cindy was a bridal vision in her lace gown with a floating skirt and a cathedral veil. The bridal bouquet is so amazing. A lush array of cascading blooms in pink and blush tones. Her bridesmaids wore sophisticated gowns in a pink tone just as pretty as all the roses around them!

West Coast Weddings often feature forests, mountains, and lakes, but we are privileged to have historical garden venues which rival the best in the world. Cindy and Les are a real inspiration for that with their Hycroft Manor wedding. Congrats!

Florals can have a massive impact on your carbon footprint as a couple.  Bud + Bloom created gorgeous floral arrangements using only local blooms and dried grasses. The  long reception table is filled with rich fall colours. The funky blue and white plates are perfect with the coloured glass.

The bride is stunning in a Truvelle gown with lace bodice and floaty skirt. Her ‘Veronica Lake’ hairstyle is natural and complements her glowing makeup. Have you ever thought of using food as your main décor statement piece? Art of Charcuterie created a stunning vegan grazing table with locally sourced food as an edible centerpiece along with thrifted vintage tableware. Loft Design Weddings completed the table look with menus crafted from plantable wildflower seed paper.

Magical Woodsy Wedding Inspiration filled with Autumn colours!  This richly detailed tablescape and beautiful couple are everything you need to inspire your fall woodland wedding. Fall berries of every colour adorn the floral design and bridal bouquet. We especially love the touches of muted gold, burgundy fruit, charcuterie and the exquisite ceremony arch. 

The idea of exchanging your vows under the trees gives us the enchanted forest feel already but this tablescape adds a magical woodsy feel by using colour and detail. The wood table is filled with luxurious floral and fruit. Deep pink roses, burgundy touches and protea are complemented by pomegranates, pears and grapes. Muted gold and black dishes are paired with wine glasses and blue linens. Flowers drape off the edges of the table while the crowning touch are the gold candlesticks filled with burgundy tapered candles.

The wedding couple are adorned with woodsy touches as well. The bride wears a simple styled gown drawing attention to her crown of braids complete with flowers. Beach Wedding for Kristen + Marc! This beautiful ceremony and reception featured the ultimate ocean view as the backdrop. Family and friends camped for the weekend at Bella Pacifica in Tofino and joined this eco couple as they chose local and handmade options for their special day.

The entire occasion was chill with friends and family helping to make the wedding a memorable occasion. The bride and MOH designed the bouquets and floral as well as the charcutterie boards. Marc and Kristen really went out of their way to stay local and featured libations from the Island – Tofino Brewing Co., Phillips Brewing and Tofino Distillery.

Kristen wore a beautiful tulle ball gown with layered skirt and carried the bouquet of blush dahlias and eucalyptus she had designed herself. She walked down the set of stairs to the beach and met Marc at the ceremony arch. Kristen walked towards Marc who was wearing a navy jacket and shirt with tan trousers.

We love the relaxed feel to this beautiful day and how pretty everything is – from the bride right down to the food! The sparkle lights kept this wedding going late into the evening and created a magic feeling. This beach wedding for Kristen + Marc is the perfect inspiration for an intimate wedding on the water.

Cherry blossoms, a beautiful bridal couple and a perfect wedding ceremony wreath – mix them together and you have this lovely editorial showcasing of one of the most popular looks of this summer. 2018 has been a year of beautiful wedding trends and none more so than the ceremony circle wreath! 

North Vancouver Island boasts amazing creative minds when it comes to wedding worthy editorials. Karen Bezaire of Bezaire Event Design created this wedding wreath which used almost a whole tree of cherry blossoms! North Island photographer, Erin Wallis, captured the picture perfect results. 

We loved the gorgeous bouquet filled with garden roses in various hues of pink, blush and beige! The cherry blossom ceremony arch is certainly the floral highlight but this bouquet by Purely Flower carries itself with the lush look.  The groom brought extra style by wearing a deep maroon which complemented the entire colour scheme (any pink wedding editorial that does not dress the groom in pink gets extra points for being man friendly!).

The bride was adorned in famous designer Anna Campbell by The White Peony. The lace top with beautiful open back and flowing skirt are just so romantic. The entire scene is filled with romance, style and the latest trend in ceremonies!
