Playful + Pink at Bear and Joey…This styled shoot was put together by a wonderful bunch of local creatives who wanted to showcase their incredible talents and create something beautiful! The original mood board was envisioned by the photographer, Taylor Dawning Photo, with the hope of designing a romantic and intimate elopement style.
The venue, Bear and Joey Cafe, is newer to Victoria and is easily one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes we have, with its adorable pink and green interior and slight 70’s vibe. These characteristics really added to the playfulness of the shots, while still maintaining a romantic feel.
All vendors involved work in the wedding industry here on Vancouver Island, and absolutely love coming together to create stunning weddings! Everyone was excited to come up with new and unique ideas that future brides and grooms will love. The sun structure is an example of a trendy stand alone feature. The flowers, done by Bespoke Blossoms, are incredible; they really capture the true talent of this florist. Blush palm fronds and pampas grass drape around coffee and beige roses to frame the bride as she walks down the aisle.
Tapered candles float above earthy toned linens and floral surrounding the wedding cake in playful luxury. The wedding cake beautifully crafted by July’s Girl Cake Co. adds to the splendid grandeur of this special occasion.
Modern mixes with the antique throughout this playful and pink at Bear and Joey, who wouldn’t want such a romantic pallet for their Vancouver Island wedding.
