Modern Vintage Wedding at The Loft

Modern Vintage Wedding at The Loft…an inspiration shoot that combined vintage décor with modern style for a lovely celebration vibe! The venue’s brick architecture and rustic feel were the perfect backdrops for the neutral, antique color palette and lush design. The design was so wonderful it was featured in the 2021 issue of West Coast Weddings Vancouver Magazine.

The florists at The Flower Factory designed beautiful centerpieces and bouquets to bring the vintage to the space. The planners at Epic Events added the designer touches to make it all feel cozy and romantic. The bride looked stunning in a glamorous gown, bejeweled hair, and a long train. The groom was full-on black tie which is so fun to see these days. We love how Kaoverii Silva captured every detail of this palette, especially the era details.

Let’s talk about the cake. A masterpiece of three square tiers, this cake is a standout, to say the least. It appears to look like a painting, although it still inspires the wish to cut and taste! The white orchids peek out around the edges, while the white bricks are the perfect backdrop.

The tablescape features a table runner and moody place settings allowing the florals and paper suite to pop: blush blooms and greenery parade up the center of the table around glass candle holders. The gold vintage goblets are a lovely touch giving a splash of colour to the decor portrait. The whole feeling is moody meets modern vintage.

We are in love with the whole look – from the 20’s inspired glam gown to the sun-dappled floral backdrops. The windows, the table palette, and the paper suite all come together to create a Vancouver wedding inspirational palette!
